Perfect Tens with iGlove

Perfect Tens is an electrostimulator for home use, specially programmed to offer symptomatic relief and support in the management of chronic or acute localized pain, especially muscle pain.

This version features the iGlove electrode glove for hand treatments.

iGlove is a glove electrode for TENS and EMS electrostimulators that uses conductive tissue to allow stimulation to pass through the hand and fingers to improve blood flow, mobility and provide pain relief.

The iGlove works in the same way as an electrode, but works on the whole hand to ensure a better use of EMS and TENS treatments. Thanks to iGlove nerve endings are stimulated more effectively and it is easier to relieve pain in the hands, reduce swelling and rehabilitate the muscles to increase mobility.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Perfect Tens sends a light stimulation through the skin which works in two ways:

The pain gate theory

The electrostimulator works by stimulating the sensory nerves, which are directly responsible for the transmission of contact and temperature signals.
The connections in the spine are crossed by these nerves and pain nerves. As a result, a strong sensory signal will block the pain signal from traveling up the spine and reaching the brain.
This is known as the Gate Theory: the effects are immediate , even after a few minutes of treatment. When the gate is open, the pain signals reach the brain, determining the user's state of suffering, while when the gate is closed , the pain messages remain blocked.

Endorphine release

When set at low frequencies and with a slightly higher power output, TENS causes the motor nerves to produce a small, repetitive muscle contraction. The brain receives this information as if it were some kind of exercise and thus promotes the release of endorphins (the human body's natural pain reliever). The relief increases and normally takes about 40 minutes to reach its maximum level. The feeling of relief remains even hours after turning off the device.
