New Age Farmatek L-1 is a device for CMP (Continuos Passive Motion) mobilization of the knee and ankle joint.
Equipped with a mobile support, it allows you to adjust the length of extension, the angle and the speed of traction.
It is possible to choose both a continuous rehabilitation session and a session with recovery times , which can be set according to needs.
Applicable for rehabilitation of both knee and ankle joints.

Equipped with remote safety control , useful for being able to stop the therapy at any time, and then resume it or terminate it definitively, returning to the initial state of leg distension. The English term continuous passive motion (CPM), in Italian can be translated as continuous passive motion.

It is a motorized device designed to make the joints perform normal movements, without however the patient having to use his own muscles. Passive mobilization ensures a faster return to joint function and prevents stiffness.
In the case of surgery, it also prevents the formation of scar tissue which, in turn, could later limit movement.
Passive mobilization, however, is one of the typical practices of physical therapy, the difference of the motor system, therefore, consists in the use of an automatic system that the patient, if desired, can control himself without the need to be assisted by the physiotherapist.
