VETERINARY LASER THERAPY APPLICATIONS

Laser therapy is an instrumental physical therapy that uses laser radiation to facilitate the body's healing processes: it is painless and non-invasive and can be applied to skin wounds to accelerate healing.
Laser therapy can be used in the treatment of various skin and musculoskeletal pathologies in which there is inflammation, edema and pain affecting dogs, cats and horses.

Biostimulant

The biostimulant activity favors tissue repair and healing thanks to the increased supply of nutrients and oxygen, the modulation of cellular proliferation and differentiation, as well as the activation of cellular functions and modulation of the organization of extracellular matrix proteins.

Analgesic

The analgesic effect of laser therapy develops through a combination of numerous factors. Laser therapy reduces the inflammatory component in the tissues, modulates the conduction of the pain stimulus, reduces muscle contracture and edema and determines the removal of the proinflammatory markers present in the injured tissue.

Anti-inflammatory and anti-edema

The anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effects are performed through the local modulation of the biochemical markers, through a different tissue distribution of the inflammatory cells, a reduction in the formation of edema and hemorrhage and through the inhibition of the production of molecules with inflammatory activity.
