Diacare 5000 Pro is the top model in the range of Globus Diathermy Tecar Therapy - Capacitive/Resistive Energy Transfer devices.
DiaCare 5000 uses both modes, so the biological effect can be directed with good effectiveness both on tissues with high resistance (in practice tissues with lower water concentration) and on those with lower resistance.
DiaCare 5000 works at a frequency of 1000KHz, 400KHz, 470KHz, 700KHz, and with a power of 200 W AC.

GLOBUS DIATHERMY / TECAR THERAPY CURATIVE ENERGY

WHAT IS DIATHERMY?

Diathermy / Tecar therapy with capacitive and resistive energy transfer is an innovative therapy widely used in the physiotherapy and medical fields to treat trauma and musculoskeletal pathologies.
It is conducted through electrodes that directly transport energy where therapeutic action is needed. This energy is generated by the movement of electrical charges and induces the production of heat, which recreates the natural reparative and anti-inflammatory processes.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HEAT

Unlike other methods (infrared, laser, ultrasound and electrotherapy) whose effects are limited to the superficial layers of the body, Diathermy / Tecar therapy with Capacitive and Resistive energy transfer can produce a very effective action because it reaches in depth the area to be to deal. In addition, Diathermy / Tecar therapy can be used selectively on the affected areas with two different modes of use: Capacitive and Resistive.

  • The Capacitive method is suitable for treating tissues with low resistance to the passage of electricity (muscles, skins, connective tissues, circulatory and lymphatic systems).
  • The Resistive method is particularly suitable for treating highly resistant tissues (bone tissue, cartilage, tendons, ligaments). It is also possible to carry out a combined Capacitive / Resistive phase treatment in order to obtain a more effective therapeutic action.

STRENGTHS

  • Clinical studies confirm that diathermy is particularly effective in the treatment of trauma and pathologies of the musculoskeletal system.
  • Diathermy acts in an antalgic way, often already from the first treatment, in case of both acute and chronic syndrome.
  • Diathermy is very effective, so good results can be achieved with short courses of treatment.
  • Diathermy allows you to focus the treatment specifically on the affected area even if it is located very deeply. Other therapeutic techniques use exogenous energy and their effectiveness is not equal to the diathermic one, because they cannot reach such a depth of action without overheating the treated area excessively.
  • Diathermy does not overheat or dehydrate the skin and superficial tissues. The temperature is applied evenly and comfortably to the entire area to be treated.
